Our stainless square bar is annealed and cold drawn and stocked in three of the most popular stainless alloys: 303, 304 and 416. Our range of sizes and alloys makes our stainless squares suitable for a variety of demanding applications. Stainless 304 square bars can be used for structural supports, axles and more in corrosive environments unsuited for other metals, as well as for use in many forms of industrial equipment. Free machining 303 austenitic stainless square bar offers corrosion resistance and machinability for items such as bushings, screws, shafts and gears. Stainless 416 square bar is another highly machinable stainless variant, but is a martensitic grade, often used for fasteners, gears and studs.
